Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy describes how Kikimora (“we”, “us”, or “our”) handles information when you use the Kikimora app for macOS (“the App”).
Kikimora is a local-first Kubernetes client. It is designed so that your cluster configuration and activity stay on your device and are never sent to us.
Information We Collect
Data stored on your device
Kikimora stores the following information locally on your Mac:
- The kubeconfig files you choose to load (or references to them)
- Cluster connection settings and credentials you add through the app
- Your UI preferences and app settings
This data never leaves your device unless you export it yourself.
No accounts, no telemetry
We do not require an account and we do not collect:
- Your name, email address, or any personal identifiers
- Analytics, telemetry, or usage statistics
- Crash reports
- The contents or names of your clusters, namespaces, or workloads
Kikimora does not phone home. It does not contain third-party advertising or tracking SDKs.
Purchase and subscription data
Kikimora Pro is sold as a subscription. How your purchase data is handled depends on the channel:
- Mac App Store (Apple). Purchases and subscriptions are processed and billed by Apple under Apple’s privacy practices. Your subscription entitlement is validated through the App Store using transaction receipts and subscription status (such as purchase dates, expiration, and refund status). Apple never receives your cluster data or kubeconfig contents.
- Direct (non-Apple). For future non-Apple systems, purchases are billed through Waffo Pancake, our payment processor. Waffo Pancake processes payment details, which are not stored on our servers.
Support correspondence
If you contact us by email at service@sslime.dev, we receive your email address and whatever information you choose to include. We use this only to respond to your inquiry and to improve the App.
How We Use Information
The information we hold is limited to what you send us directly (for example, a support email) and the subscription data described above. We use it solely to:
- Confirm and manage your subscription entitlement
- Respond to your questions and support requests
- Investigate and fix issues you report
- Improve the App based on your feedback
Sharing of Information
We do not sell, rent, trade, or share your information with any third party for advertising or any other commercial purpose. The only sharing that occurs is the limited, necessary processing described above:
- Apple, for payment processing and subscription management of App Store purchases
- Waffo Pancake, to process payments for direct (non-Apple) purchases
Data Retention
Data stored on your device remains there until you delete it — for example, by removing a cluster from Kikimora or uninstalling the App. Purchase and subscription records are retained by Apple and Waffo Pancake in accordance with their respective policies, and by us only as required by law (for example, for tax purposes). Support emails are retained only as long as needed to resolve your request and are deleted afterwards.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, the “Last updated” date at the top of this page will change. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the revised policy.

购买与订阅数据
Kikimora Pro 以订阅方式销售。您的购买数据的处理方式取决于渠道：
- Mac App Store（Apple）。 购买与订阅由 Apple 依据其隐私实践处理与计费。 您的订阅权益通过 App Store 使用交易收据与订阅状态（如购买日期、到期时间 与退款状态）进行校验。Apple 绝不会有您的集群数据或 kubeconfig 内容。
